Our Lady of the Sign is a traditional icon type in which the Virgin Mary raises both hands in prayer, with the Christ Child shown in a round medallion on her chest. Its name refers to the prophecy in Isaiah 7:14: “the Lord himself shall give you a sign.” The type is especially venerated in Russian Orthodox tradition. The artist and date of this rendition are not known.

The front of the shirt shows the full image as a rectangle: the Virgin in red and teal robes, arms raised, against a patterned silver ground, printed in full color with DTG.

The Canvas:

This unisex boxy tee is made from 100% combed cotton (280g/m²). The heavyweight fabric gives the shirt a substantial vintage feel, while the drop shoulders and loose, boxy cut give a relaxed fit. Reactive-dyed for long-lasting color.

Wash inside out in cold water on a gentle cycle with mild detergent. Do not bleach, soak, rub, or wring. Wash with like-colored garments. Hang dry and avoid direct sunlight. Iron, steam, or tumble dry at low temperature (max 30℃ or 90℉).
