“Ascension of Christ Icon” Archive Boxy Tee

Description

The WW9 “Ascension of Christ Icon” Archive Boxy Tee

Rising. Witness. A promise to return.

The Ascension is described in the Book of Acts: forty days after the Resurrection, Jesus is taken up into heaven before the apostles, and two men in white tell them he will return. Icons of the Ascension traditionally show Christ in a circle of glory carried by angels, with the apostles gathered below. The age, maker and origin of this particular icon are not known.

The front of the shirt carries the full icon as a rectangular image: Christ in a circle of light held by two angels in the upper half, and haloed apostles with two figures in white gathered below, printed in full color with DTG.

This unisex boxy tee is made from 100% combed cotton (280g/m²). The heavyweight fabric gives the shirt a substantial vintage feel, while the drop shoulders and loose, boxy cut give a relaxed fit. Reactive-dyed for long-lasting color.
