Description
The WW9 “Miracle of Florus and Laurus” Archive Boxy Tee
Faith. Labor. The keepers of the herd.
Florus and Laurus are early Christian martyrs who, according to church tradition, were twin brothers and stonemasons in Illyria. In Russian Orthodox tradition they are honored as protectors of horses. This icon follows the composition long associated with them: the Archangel Michael stands at the top, handing the reins of horses to the two saints, while horsemen drive the herd below. The age, maker and origin of this particular icon are not known.
The front of the shirt carries the full icon as a rectangular image on its warm ochre ground, printed in full color with DTG in the large Front (MAX) print area.
The Canvas:
This unisex boxy tee is made from 100% combed cotton (280g/m²). The heavyweight fabric gives the shirt a substantial vintage feel, while the drop shoulders and loose, boxy cut give a relaxed fit. Reactive-dyed for long-lasting color.
