Description
The WW9 “La Linguère Senegal Stamp” Archive Boxy Tee
Royalty. Grace. The crown of the Wolof.
This is a Senegalese postage stamp with a face value of 1000 francs, titled “La Linguère” in script along its edge. Linguère (lingeer) was a title held by high-ranking royal women in the historic Wolof kingdoms of Senegal. This copy carries a postmark from Thiès, a city in western Senegal; its exact issue date isn’t confirmed here.
The front of the shirt carries the full stamp as a rectangular image: a smiling woman with an ornate braided hairstyle and jewelry, engraved in bright blue, with the Thiès postmark stamped across the right side. Printed in full color with DTG.
The Canvas:
This unisex boxy tee is made from 100% combed cotton (280g/m²). The heavyweight fabric gives the shirt a substantial vintage feel, while the drop shoulders and loose, boxy cut give a relaxed fit. Reactive-dyed for long-lasting color.
